Case Study: Western Stables

Client:

Western stables equestrian center and riding school. Our client Western Stables provide a unique equestrian service and experience for Shropshire and the north west region of the UK. Offering the full western riding experience along with the usual equestrian services of livery, riding lessons and the like, Hollies have also incorporated camping, parties, hog roast and other events into their portfolio.

With a growing business they decided to bring their web site up to date and asked Elda Solutions to provide them with a 21st century site for their business.

Their previous web site was a static web site and as their business changed and grew the site stood still.

Objectives:

Western Stables business portfolio has expanded and continues to grow, with this in mind the client required a web site that would grow with their business and allow them to add functionality as required. It was important to create the western feel throughout the site as this is their unique selling point (USP) and the main business at Western Stables.

A calendar showing all the events and a contact page in particular were required as customers had been given miss direction on some of the internet and local map services, the map feature of the contact page had to be accurate.

Solution:

Elda Solutions designed a bespoke look for Western Stables new site, taking into account the western theme along with the businesses core elements of horse riding. Using the R1 system the web site could grow at the same pace and is user and admin friendly enough to allow quick entry of all the web sites information. The need for an accurate map showing clients the location was down to Elda Solutions contact program with it's longitude and latitude map co-ordinate system giving highly accurate positions. In addition to not only being able to update their content they can now send emails to subscribing clients, view statistics on their sites traffic and add new features as and when required.

Result:

It is hard to measure the change between the two sites as the previous site did not have the ability to measure traffic. However the step from the old site to the new has been a great leap in what was not only a visual gain but also in operational ability.
